I love summer!! all the fresh fruits ready to buy at the markets and be made into delicious fruit salad or a breakfast juice....to start the day fresh. I love trying different juice flavours including Beetroot, Apple, Orange, Mango and Pineapple. Also adding a bit of ginger to live it up.

Art In the Bush

At the Mundaring Trek and Trail they had Art Work displayed along the trail. These were made by local school children in the area as part of a pottery project. They did such a great job with all the details.

That Red Dress

Fellow bloggers have been impressed with the Brownlow Medal 2010 fashion, especially Rebecca Twigley's beautiful dress (photo 3 below). Her partner Chris Judd won his 2nd Brownlow Medal this year. In 2004 he won his first Brownlow, however there was more talk about the dress his partner Rebecca Twigley was wearing - today it is still know as

"that red Dress"

I have also added a classic car from Chittering Flavours Festival 2010.

Flavours of Chittering

THE BEST GREEK SALAD - EVER!!!!

Greek Dancing - Fantastic!!!

We bought Chillies in Lime and Tequila Syrup. I also tried the pickle YUM!!!

Soap that smells sensational!!!

We headed to Chittering to enjoy the Flavours of Chittering Wine and Food Festival.

Chittering is a beautiful area - beautiful hills and wineries.

Our last stop was Hartley Estate Vineyard, Lower Chittering which was magical and full of atmosphere. They showcased the Greek culture through food, wine and dance. I had the Greek Salad which is the best I have ever experienced ...and I have been to Greece. Will be definitely going back next year -

loved it!!!

Subiaco Farmers Market

Yummy Chocolate Strawberries from Passion Ate.

HOT HOT chilli salt from Burning Taste Buds. They have a range from mild to very hot. I bought the BBQ and tried it at home great taste.

Never knew it was here, until I picked up a Scoop Magazine that showcased the best Markets in the West. Subiaco Markets is certainly one of the best food markets; with fresh fruit, organic food, OMG coffee, pizza, chilli salts and much more!!

I remember watching Martha Stewart who took her viewers for a look around the Brooklyn Flea Markets. There was just a great creative range of items including the food.

...so who needs to go to Brooklyn when it's here in Subiaco.

Subiaco Markets is held every Saturday at the Subiaco Primary School.
