We headed through the beautiful Chittering region travelling to the Avon Descent. There was Beautiful scenery all the way - hilltop farm homes overlooking the valley - reminded me of our farm in Margaret River. The Avon Descent is certainly an adventure for the fit, as they paddle from Northam to Perth. Although the river was low this year, it certainly did not stop people competing in this race.
