Love thy Shopping and De Spa

I love Singapore and the shopping, spas and the people just a magical place to visit and not too far from Perth - Awesome.
We stayed at Sentosa Island which is beautiful - the views, beaches and day spas - heaven......truly heaven.

The picture with the Mud in a tub was great - my sister and I just paste this all over us...it is meant to have minerals to beautify your skin and it does - I felt so smooth afterwards.

Lastly see that juicy mango - well this is the best sweet thing ever - sticky mango - not tried it.....have a go and taste it. Mango will be in season soon in Australia can not wait...........LOVING IT

Sunday Session at Yanchep Inn National Park

Nothing like chilling out on a Sunday afternoon with family down by the lake. This park is in our area and we love it.... we have organised birthday parties, morning teas and luncheons at Yanchep Inn - it is always a hit!!!

The best thing about developing areas is that new display homes are open. Its great to take a walk through and see some of the interior design work to gain some inspiration. Beach theme.

Blogging on Apple Mac

Love my Apple Mac. I have never owned a Mac computer, however always wondered what all the hype was...... then I entered the Apple MAC world - pure brilliance everything you need is on the Mac - itunes, iphoto, i booth and much more. I actually want to work more as it is sooo much fun; although I do get a bit distracted with all the applications.

Noticing more Australian's are getting hooked on Mac - yes it does take a while until technology gets to us - when it does we love it!!!

So I would like to say a BIG Thanks to Uncle Apple Mac!!! - love your work!!

It's arrived!!!! I was very excited when this book arrived in the post. This book is my guide to the blogging world. April Showers Blog Design recommended this book to help me get started; I have flipped through a few pages and it is just what I needed.

I ordered this book from Amazon and it only took a few days to arrive (love it). So if you are starting in the blogging world then this is a MUST HAVE!!!

 
Wall Paper is back!!!! I remember we had wall paper all over our house in Margaret River back in the 1970's and now it has returned. I must admit our house on the Farm did look amazing. Scandinavian Wallpaper in Perth stock the most incredible designs - this is where we found our interior design - who is THE BEST!!

New England

 

Designing your own style for your house does not need to be complicated, all it takes is a great interior designer - which I am not. However hiring one makes life just that little more easier. We had contacted Kristy from ReVamp Interiors to help us get the right ambience in our home and to date a great investment; one it saves a lot of disagreements that you may have with your partner - not that we do - just means everyone is happy. Kristy also lives at the beach and therefore understands the beach concept we want to create. Our colours have been chosen and I am soooo very happy with the choice - we would never haven chosen the colours she had shown us - very crisp and suits the theme throughout the house - that is why it is worth the investment getting someone to help with the decision. New England is the look... beach with a bit of the french style mixed in. We are also Ikea fans and bought some bar stools not only are they comfy and fit the style so well. Now we just have to figure out what we are going to do with the theatre room. Ideas are flowing.....

Beach Nick Nack Must Have

When designing our home there was one item I wanted - this cute red combie van. It sits on the bar recess and just creates the look straight away. There was only one left in the shop and in my favourite colour - red.

The orange colour is beautiful. Captures the changing colours from day to day.

Different shades of colours - we have beautiful sunsets glister through the trees.

Winter brings beautiful sunset in the clouds. These were taken outside our home - sensational scenery.
